Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology in South Korea has made ultra-thin photovoltaics flexible enough to wrap around the average pencil. The photovoltaic is about 1µm thick. Steve Milunovich, a hardware analyst at UBS, said the iPhone 7 will drive only moderate single-digit growth in Apple’s fiscal year 2017.
