  • Some interesting headlinesLG Display to build an OLED display module factory in Vietnam; Samsung is intent to stretching its shares of DRAM to close to 50%; Merger between Micron and Inotera is approved; Huawei plans production of phones in India with Foxconn; , Samsung Electronics is winning back customers in emerging markets by slashing prices; etc.
  • Other information – Greer is currently studying chipsets, also developing new energy and making cars; Sharp has developed a prototype flexible OLED using the company‘s IGZO; Hon Hai strongly believes that Sharp could turn profitable by developing an IGZO business; Samsung Display, LG Display, Japan Display and JOLED have all invested in Japanese Kyulux Inc., an OLED startup; Samsung Electronics will lead the global standardization of 5G network technologies for 3GPP RAN1; etc.
